ANAND RAO
A multi-lingual writer, actor, and director, he was born and raised in Bengaluru, where he was actively involved in Kannada and English theatre for more than 15 years. MAHESH DATTANI
The first English playwright to win the Sahitya Academi Award, Mahesh needs no introduction to theatre fans all over the world. Born and raised in Bengaluru, Mahesh has worked closely with many Kannada theatre personalities. Now living in Mumbai, he runs his own theatre training workshops and directs plays for teams all over the world while continuing to create masterpieces with his magical gift for storytelling

RAJ PATIL
Past President of AKKA (Association of Kannada Kootas of America), Raj has been engaged in several social causes and has proven experience leading large-scale community organizations. A CEO of a global technology firm, Patil has also been a passionate supporter of the arts all his life. A theatre enthusiast, he fondly remembers doing plays during his school days in his hometown of Mysore and also winning the best actor award in a theatre festival.

RATEE APANA
A graduate of IIM Bangalore, Ratee spent her summers with families in Mysore and Coorg. She is the founder and director of the Cincinnati Indian Film Festival. A successful professor, consultant, and organizer, she is an influential voice in the South Asian entertainment circles in North America.

SWATHY SEKHAR ANAND
An avid theatre enthusiast, and hobbyist actor born and raised in Bengaluru. A Wall Street executive based in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

SOMA SHEKHAR
A former cricket player and coach from Mysore is a regular in
Nammerica theatre productions. An IT professional based in Nashville, Tennessee.

BENKI BASANNA
A tireless Kannada community worker and organizer, Basanna writes poetry, draws cartoons, creates memes and articles for major Kannada publications. A resident of Albany, New York, he is the author of Comedy Kshipanigalu (missiles).
